LIBR 203: Welcome to my blog!

I created this blog for the 23 Things on a Stick program 2 years ago. This was a statewide (Minnesota) library learning 2.0 program. This program was created to assist library professionals in learning the resources available to them online and find what value they may have in their library (and libraries in general). I learned about so many great online productivity tools and was able to become very familiar with blogging. I haven't kept up with the blog as well as I would have liked but I want to use it to blog about the SLIS program while I am attending as well as my journey working in a library (which has been great so far).

Aside from completing the 23 Things program, I also walked away with the grand prize the first year it was done - a Flip videocamera! Its a fun little thing and I have yet to post any videos I have taken with it. I will have to do so soon. I took the camera with me to Europe and have videos taken in Munich and Rome.

I will be working on the More Things on a Stick (a continuation of 23 Things) program in the near future, so I will be blogging about more library 2.0 tools. I look forward to sharing what I learn!
